The placement takes place in Moshi Municipality and the surrounding areas. Volunteers arrive in Kilimajaro International Airport where the volunteer coordinator will be expecting them.
Volunteers will be fostering community development activities in these fields.
Depending upon the volunteer’s interest shown in their application, volunteers shall be placed accordingly in small groups.
The quarters for volunteers are available through a partner Volunteer NGO of Reaching Cultures and are not run by Reaching Cultures. This is done so that volunteers are safe and well cared for throughout their placement in Tanzania. The Volunteer NGO will be providing each volunteer with transportation to their placement each day. The cost for the services provided by the Volunteer NGO is collected prior to placement so that it is transferred to the NGO on time before your arrival.
The services provided by the Volunteer NGO:
© At the quarters, volunteers are provided with all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
© Lodging at the volunteer quarters in the city of Moshi situated 3km away from your working placement

The quarters have a common dining room. All meals are provided by the quarters’ staff. You will not be cooking your own food, however you are free to inform us of any allergies, intolerance or foods which you do not eat. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided at the quarters.
